Templar Technologies, Inc. is a progressive company specializing in belt conveyor system design and manufacture. We combine extensive industry experience with state-of-the-art engineering technology to provide high quality, custom bulk handling systems.

COMPANY HISTORY

1994

Templar Technologies, Inc. Incorporated

Templar Technologies, Inc. was incorporated in 1994 in the state of Pennsylvania as a manufacturer’s representative for bulk material handling equipment.
1995

Mike Sloan Joins Templar

Mike Sloan, P.E., former Manager of Operations at Willis & Paul and later, Watkins Engineers & Constructors (NJ Division) joined Templar in 1996. With this addition, Templar broadened its scope of services to include engineering and conveyor design.

Templar’s main focus at this time was producing belt conveyor designs and shop fabrication details using computer-aided design techniques.

1998

John Paul and Bill Callow Join Templar

Two additional former Willis & Paul/Watkins managers joined Templar as equal owners: John Paul, P.E., Vice President of Engineered Systems Division, and Bill Callow, P.E., Chief Estimator.

Templar expanded into manufacturing and supply of belt conveyor systems at this time.

2008

Templar Recognized in Inc. Magazine

Templar Technologies, Inc. was recognized in Inc. Magazine’s September, 2008 issue as one of the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies in the United States. Templar’s rank was #677 nationally, #52 in the New York metropolitan area and #15 for manufacturing companies. The Inc. 5000 is based on revenue growth over the last 3 years period, with a growth rate of approximately 500% for Templar.
2020

Templar Today

To date, Templar has supplied numerous belt conveyors to the cement, aggregate, power, and pulp and paper industries. Additionally, Templar offers bulk material handling system design and steel detailing services. We continue to strive to provide the highest quality products and services to the bulk materials handling industry and beyond.

Mr. Callow has over 40 years of experience in the rock products, pulp and paper, power, and mining industries.

Mr. Paul has over 40 years of experience in executive management, engineering, business development, estimating and project management.

Vice President

Mr. Callow has over 10 years of experience in finance, purchasing & estimating for Templar.
