Templar Technologies, Inc. was incorporated in 1994 in the state of Pennsylvania. Our office is located just off Interstate Route 80 at exit 30 in northwestern New Jersey. Collectively, the principals and employees have over 200 years of experience in the industries we serve. Mike Sloan, P.E., former Manager of Operations at Willis & Paul and later, Watkins Engineers & Constructors (NJ Division) joined Templar in 1996. With this addition, Templar broadened its scope of services to include engineering as well as conveyor design. Templar's main focus at this time was producing belt conveyor designs and shop details using advanced computer-aided design techniques. By automating design tasks and calculations with proprietary computer-based innovations, Templar rewarded its customers with increased productivity, shorter schedules, and lower costs. These three areas of significant improvement continue to be the cornerstone of our philosophy and focus of our employees.
In 1998, two additional former Willis & Paul/Watkins managers joined Templar as equal owners: John Paul, P.E., Vice President of Engineered Systems Division, and Bill Callow, P.E., Chief Estimator. To date, Templar has supplied over 200 belt conveyors to the cement, aggregate, power, and pulp and paper industries. Additionally, Templar offers industrial building design and steel detailing services. Engineers and designers at Templar use 3D BIM detailing software to provide fabricators with shop drawings and CNC files. We continue to strive here at Templar to provide the highest quality service to the bulk materials handling industry and beyond.
